BIOGRAPHY
BrokenDrum have burst onto the liquid scene with a surge of soulful drum and bass with several releases in 2010 on labels such as Liquid Brilliants, Urban Chemistry, Subfuzion and Extent VIP Recordings. This London based crew have been making drum and bass together for around 6 years but only recently started pushing their music to the masses, and it’s going down very well.
The 3 piece drum and bass production crew have been described as a ‘breath of fresh air for drum and bass scene’, and have received a warm welcome from the dnb scene and gain regular club and airplay from the likes of Bukem, Big Bud, EZ Rollers, Aarron Jay, Crissy Cris, Ashatak and Bailey to name but a few.
BrokenDrum give their musical influences as 3 lifetimes worth of soul, motown, funk and rare groove – basically anything with a good vibe and soul touching groove. Favourite artists include Redeyes, Calibre, Electrosoul System, BCee, Lenzman, and Random Movement and lots more.
